Our Founding & Continuous Evolution
Penn Pro, Inc. was founded by M. Wayne Pennewell in August of 1992. Motivated by his desire to apply deep phosphate processing experience to the mining and chemical industries of Central Florida, Wayne established Penn Pro with a single uncompromising premise: provide the highest quality engineering services to clients without sacrificing integrity or reliability.
Over the past 30+ years, our multidisciplinary capabilities have expanded into biofuels, lead recycling, specialty chemical, fire water integration, cement, sand and aggregates, and food & beverage facilities. Today, Penn Pro stands as a trusted, full-service technical firm delivering total Engineering, Design, and Construction Management packages.

More than one-third of our engineering staff are licensed Professional Engineers (PE) with active certifications across ten states. In addition to advanced 2D and 3D CAD modeling, Penn Pro provides turnkey 3D laser scanning integrated with AutoCAD Plant 3D and NavisWorks. This gives clients precision reverse-engineering capabilities for legacy parts without OEM drawings, and we also use this to develop brownfield piping and structural models and tie-in to existing systems.
